At the Grant Celebration in October 2025, WIN awarded $147,909 to the Nebraska Early Childhood Collaborative (NECC) to support the development of its Childcare Licensing Toolkit. This initiative will introduce Nebraska's first comprehensive licensing toolkit and mentoring program for individuals interested in opening childcare centers. Designed to offer clear, step-by-step guidance through the licensing process, the project aims to make starting a childcare program more accessible. During their presentation, NECC will share updates on the project's progress.
